What I Will Take For My Summer Holidays.

I realized that my most viewed post on this blog is the "What I Took With Me For Winter Break?", which was actually written and the pictures where taken so spontaneously, when I was bored in my room during winter break. As I'm going for holidays in a couple of days, I decided to write a similar post but for summer holidays.

So sorry for the quality of the pictures, they are taken with the same camera, on my laptop they look so good and the quality is amazing, but somehow when I add them, they change their quality which makes my super mad, but I tried everything to correct that. :(

Nail polishes are a must for me during summer holidays, as I that kind of person that constantly like to change the colour of their nails. There is a slight possibility that I may change some to other colors or take more. But they definitely will stay in these shades and tones.
Rimmel in 823 Blindfold Me Blue - Lovely dark blue, reminds me of the dark tones of the sea in very hot counties (don't know why!)
Loreal in 853 Menthe Glace - Amazing light blue colour, looks perfect with a tan and dark clothes.
Bourjois La Laque in 4 Flambant Rose - On the picture the colour seems quite dark and red, while in reality it is more of a coral, peachy, pinky red.
Rimmel in 262 Ring A Ring O'Roses - Baby pink, I believe a statement for summer and it stays on for a long time.
Topshop  in Varsity - I have to say this is my favourite nail polish. The color is so unique and beautiful, it's really hard to find a nail polish of that colour. Amazing for all seasons.
Essie in Fiji - You know how I love my Essie nail polishes, they are great quality and the colour scheme is unbelievable. Very light pinky colour - statement for summer (especially when you are tanned).

Skincare is the next very important things especially during summer holidays. My skincare routine has changed a bit, since the post and also my antibiotic cream has just finished so it’s not included in the picture.
Bioderma Sensibio - My long time favourite, as always I use this to remove my make-up and clean my face after night. Like I said before many times, it is one of the best products ever.
Soothing and Moisturising Toner Iwostin - I think this is a Polish brand, but it really works great for me. My skin doesn't feel dry and it cleanses the skin as well.
Alaclarin Rosacea - This is my morning cream, as it is moisturising and soothing creams for acne skin. There is also one in blue, but it's stronger and it was too drying for me. I find this one is great for under makeup and this little bottle lasts a very long time.
Avene Cicalfete Skin-Repair Emulsion - My night time moisturizer that I have used for a long time now, I use this after some minutes from applying my antibiotic creams.
Avene Repair Cream - I use on bigger spots to heal them and get rid of the redness around it. It's very creamy and has a thick texture, so I do use in the evening. After I applying this on my blemishes, the skin on the next day is less irritated and the redness is gone. I have gone through three big tubes of this cream already
Vitamin E Eye Cream from The Body Shop - I mentioned this before, it's one of the best under eye creams for me, it really reduces the puffiness and applying concealer is so much easier, also it doesn't crease.

EOS Shave Creme - This has to be my favorite shaving creams I have ever used, my legs are super sensitive and get irritated very easily. This cream really makes it easy to shave them, they are super smooth and the smell is beautiful as it is pomegranate raspberry. I have bought this online, if you are interested you can write an email and it possible to ship anywhere in Poland and worldwide as well.
marekmolx@gmail.com
Soap&Glory Flake Away Body Polish - An amazing body scrub that I think is a must during summer time, this one is in travel size so it will fit everywhere. I have used this once before and I loved it.
The Body Shop Honeymania Shower Gel - I wrote about this before, it is a great shower gel that smells like flowers and honey. It leaves your skin smooth and moisturised.
Dove Daily Moisture Shampoo and Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner - I really like these two hair products, they are light weight and the smell is really nice. It leaves my hair very soft and clean.

The hair products that I will take with me:
Tangle Teezer - I said it before, for me the best brush ever. It untangles my hair and makes it super smooth.  It also spreads any product nicely throughout the hair.
Tony&Guy Sea Salt Spray - This is the travel version, I love the effect it gives me, this messy beachy waves and a lot of texture.
Tony&Guy Moisturising Shine Spray - It gives you that lively shine and makes your hair super soft.
Pantene Deep Moisturizing Mousse - I use this on wet hair before blow drying it and I have to say my hair is looking much more healthy and moisturized then before.
Batiste Dry Shampoo - Did a review on this product, amazing dry shampoo. The floral scent is my favourite out of all of the ones I have tried. I have to buy a small version as this one is so big I don't need that much on holidays. Also it takes so much space.

Bioderma Cicabio Soothing Repairing Creme - I use this on my legs, as they get super dry and irritated. This cream makes them soft and it heels all of the scars and razor cuts.
Victoria's Secret Bombshell Perfume - I have picked this online, without smelling them before and I made a great decision. They smell so beautiful and it definitely suits me.
They are sweet with a hit of fresh, they are definitely one of my favourites right now. Moreover, the bottle is absolutely gorgeous.
Victoria Secret Tinted Body Lotion - I have used this once and I loved the results. You won't receive  concealed and covered look on your body, like body make-up, but it definitely gives you that little shine and bronzed look. The smell is very sweet kind of like vanilla and coconut.
Victoria Secret Bronzing Brush Shimmering Powder - I was a bit scared of the colour at first, as it is very dark, however if you apply it lightly without pressing hard, the colour is almost sheer and it leaves your skin with shimmer/glitter and it looks so beautiful in the sun.
Bath & Body Works French Lavender and Honey Body Lotion - This is one of the miniature body lotions I bought when I was in Warsaw in February, I never used it really so I thought that summer holidays will be the perfect time. Also, the smell almost matches the smell of The Body Shop shower gel I'm taking with me. Like any other Bath&Body Works products, it makes your skin super soft and the smell is absolutely beautiful.

The make-up I take with me is pretty much simple, the main things that I need and use everyday.
Also, when I was taking the pictures it was before I bought my Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, so it's not included, but I'm definitely taking it with me as I love it!!
NYX Butt 'naked' Palette - I use this almost everyday, I love that I have everything in one. That's why I want to take this palette as I have 4 brushes, 2 highlighters and one bronzer to choose from. Also the shadows are great and there are many nude and grayish tones.
Estee Louder in 01 Vanilla Pots - These are my two favourite eyeshadow duo, that I love to use from time to time. They are so beautiful and they are the perfect combination.
Loral Super Black Liner - My perfect black eyeliner, it stays on forever, it's glossy and full of colour.   I love the effect it gives the eyes with a nice smoky eye or even a nude eye.
Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze - All time favourite base colour or even under golden eye makeup base. It stays on all day and the shade makes light eyes pop.
Maybelline Master Shape Brow Pencil in Soft Drown - My absolute favourite eye brow product, the application is super easy and you can build the product up as well as it leaves you with a very natural finish.
Astor Eye Artist Eye Shadow Palette in 110 Sahara Gold - This is my old favourite gold/rose gold palette, it was one of my first ones, now as I have bought myself a the Naked 3 palette, I'm not taking this one with me, but it definitely is a staple in all of my travels.
Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer in 030 - Again, something I have loved for a very long time, I can't even count how many of these tubes I have gone through. Love it and it is essential.
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transparent - Of course the best powder I have ever used it, again a staple in my make-up every day. I use the transparent one as it gives my the most natural look without adding too much colour.
Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream in 31 Ivory - This is something new, that I have fell in love with. This is a definitely a light/medium coverage foundation, you can build it up to higher coverage. It stays on almost all day, if you have oily skin you make have to powder during the day, however it is a great summer foundation/BB cream. The colour is very light so it almost matches my skin tone, which is something I always have trouble with.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Eye Pencil in Black - I never really liked this eye pencil, however I recently started to use it and I really liked the effect it gives. It can be very dark, but also subtle light black liner on your eyes.
Rimmel Kohl Eye Pencil - I don't have the number or colour, but it is a very dark brown eye pencil. I love to use it on my eyes, especially with a gold/brown eye look.
Rimmel Lasting Finish in 100 - This foundation is my favourite foundation that really does the job, however it is medium/full coverage, so for summer it's not ideal, but as I have skin problems from time to time I like to have a foundation that will conceal more. Also, as I will get a tan, the colour will be a better match.
Maybelline Lash Sensational in Black - I adore this mascara, the wand is plastic but it makes your lashes super long and adds some volume. I normally apply 2-3 coats and I love the effect it gives, natural looking but also full and long.

I'm definitely a lipstick kind of person. I think that they make a look complete and polished.
Normally, I use any of my EOS, while doing my makeup so that my lips are moisturized for the lipstick I will apply later.
EOS - Passion Fruit (purple one)
EOS - Watermelon (red/pinky one)
Again, if you want to get these or any other EOS products, send an email and I'm sure you can find something for you.

I'm Back!

It's almost 1:00 am at night and I decided to write this post and kind of explain what was happening to me and this blog for almost 6 months. Probably, this time on a Friday night isn't the best to write all of this, but maybe I will just say everything I have to say.

When I started this blog, my aim was to have a place where I can express my opinions, relax and do something that makes me happy. At the beginning it was just like I imagined. I wasn't focusing on the fact that someone might read this or not (I still don't know if someone reads this blog, especially now after so much time). Anyway, I really enjoyed it at first, but then as I started to have troubles with finding what to write about or simply had the pressure that I have to post every Sunday. That took my happiness of having this blog away from me. I started to miss some Sundays, not only because of that but also I was in my senior year doing IB Diploma Program, which maybe some of you are familiar with is not the easiest thing to do. I had more studying and more work to do especially after Christmas Break, as I had 4 months till my final exams. Now I have passed them all, which is such a relief as I don't think I would be able to do it again. These two factors really made it almost impossible for me to continue this blog. Also, I'm a perfectionist and if I didn't have motivation or the photos for the posts weren't satisfying  me, I just felt guilty and didn't really feel like posting.

Now, as I have graduated high school and I'm most probably going to university I realised how life changes when you have long holidays and you don't have any pressure to study or do any work for school. You lose contact with all of your school friends, which sometimes is good but not always. You realise that all of the troubles connected with school, friends are disappearing. I have no idea what will I do in the future, there is nothing that really interests me. You know my life is far from perfect, but some aspects are. I'm ahead of something that really scares me and that is not only university. But for now I'm trying to avoid these thoughts and concentrate on all of the positives.  I'm lucky that I have amazing people around me and maybe there is not many of them but still I have them in the worst times. Maybe this is totally out of context but I just wanted to tell you that things do change and you should do whatever it takes to make you life as amazing as possible. Ending school is one of the best feelings you will experience and I'm so happy I'm done with all of that.
Coming back to this blog, like I said I wanted to share a bit of me with whoever wanted to know something. It wasn't easy for me to make this blog and to let my friends and generally people from my environment to know, as I was scared of the response, but I realized that it really doesn't matter what they think. I loved it and now I really don't care what people will say or think about this.

If there are some people that actually missed me and this blog, I'm coming back and I hope to find that happiness again. I don't want to do or post something that I'm not happy about, that's why I'm not giving myself a schedule that I will post every Sunday or everyday. I'll post when I will feel like it. I do promise to try to post at least once a week, I hope. It just won't be a strict date. Also, I want to change the blog not only visually, but also the things that I will post here. Maybe some of you have seen that the background is different and the header is made, I'm not fully happy with it but I don't have the skills to make an amazing one, that I'll just fall in love with. I want you to know that I'm planning on posting some things more personal, my thoughts on something or my experiences. Of course fashion and beauty will be present, but also it will be a combination of personal and lifestyle/design things. I'm not sure if I ever mentioned that I loved and still love to write. I used to write a lot, now I don't anymore and I miss it a little bit. That's why I want to, from time to time, post something that I write from my heart. There are still some posts that are drafts and maybe some of them I'll post, just because I want to have them in one place, but probably some of them are not true anymore.

I have changed as a person a little bit and I want to make this blog like I have always wanted to, so that I can be happy with what I post.  Sorry for all of the rambling, but I just really wanted to say everything that was on my mind. I'm happy to be back and I'll do everything to make this blog interesting and find my happy place again. I hope you understand and enjoy it.

Love you,
xx
